Strawberry Banana Snack

1 package (4 serving size) Strawberry Jell-O
3/4 cup boiling water
1/2 cup cold water
Ice cubes
1 medium banana, sliced
1 package frozen strawberries, partially thawed and drained
1/4 cup chopped nuts (optional)

Completely dissolve Jell-O in boiling water. Combine cols water and ice
cubes to make 1 1/4 cups. Add to Jell-O, stirring until slightly
thickened. Remove any unmelted ice. Let stand until thickened, about 5 to
10 minutes. Stir in banana, strawberries and nuts. Pour into a serving
bowl. Chill until set, about 1 hour.
