Default Spicy Cajun Shrimp


Spicy Cajun Shrimp

Ready In: 45 minutes
Servings: 4

1 pound jumbo shrimp, finely chopped
1/4 cup flour
1/2 cup butter
1 cup onion, chopped
1/2 cup green pepper, chopped
1/2 cup celery , chopped
1 large clove garlic, minced
1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 cup water

Combine flour and butter in a large saucepan.
Cook over medium heat, stirring, until it turns golden, about 15 to 20
minutes.
Add the onion, green pepper, celery and garlic and saute for 20 minutes.
Add the shrimp and remaining ingredients.
Bring to boil then simmer for 3 to 5 minutes, or until shrimp are tender.
Season. Serve over a bed of rice.
