White House Cookies

1 cup butter or margarine
1 cup granulated sugar
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup oil
1 egg
1 teaspoon vanilla
31/2 cups flour
1 teaspoon soda
1 teaspoon cream of tartar
1 cup crisp rice cereal
1 cup oats
1 cup coconut

Beat butter, sugars, and oil together. Add egg. Add vanilla and other
flavorings till fluffy. Sift flour, soda, and cream of tartar. Add to
mixture. Stir in remaining ingredients. 350 10-12 minutes.
