Asian Chicken Wraps
Beef & Cheese Rollups Burger Wrap Cajun Twister California Wrap BLT Wrap Chicken Caesar Wrap Feta Chicken Salad Wrap Italian Sub Wrap Tortilla Club Asian Chicken Wraps 1 1/2 cup Chinese cabbage, thinly sliced 1 1/2 cup iceberg lettuce, thinly sliced 1 cup brean sprouts 1/4 cup red bell pepper, sliced in strips 1/2 cup vinaigrette 2 tsp. soy sauce (low sodium is best) 4 10-inch tortillas 1 1/2 lb. boneless, skinless chicken breast, grilled In a large bowl, combine the first six ingredients. Mix well. Place vegetable mixture in a line across the center of each tortilla 1 to 1 1/2" from the edge. Thinly slice chicken breasts and place the meat on top of the vegetables. Fold one side of tortilla over filling and tightly roll. Serves 4. Beef & Cheese Rollups 12 oz Thinly sliced deli roast beef 1 pk (4 oz) herb flavored soft spreadable cheese 4 lg Flour tortilla (about 10 inches) 2 cup Spinach leaves (20 leaves) 1 Jar (7 oz.) roasted red peppers, rinsed & drained Spread cheese evenly over one side of each tortilla. Place deli roast beef over cheese, leaving 1-inch border around edges. Place spinach leaves over beef. Arrange peppers down center over spinach. Roll up tightly ; wrap in plastic wrap. Refrigerate at least 30 minutes or up to 6 hours before serving. To serve, cut each roll crosswise into 8 slices; arrange cut side up on serving platter. Makes 32 appetizers (serving size: 1 pinwheel) Burger Wrap 4 (8 inch) flour tortillas Shredded lettuce 1 tomato cut into 8 wedges 8 ounces (about 1 cup) hot cooked ground beef (seasoned to taste) Shredded cheddar cheese Burger toppings: mustard, mayo, catsup, onions, pickles Layer lettuce, tomato and ground beef on tortillas. Sprinkle with cheese. Add desired burger toppings and wrap. Cajun Twister 1/2 cup diced smoked sausage 1/4 cup chopped celery 1/4 cup chopped onion 1/2 cup cooked white rice 1/2 cup chopped tomatoes 1/2 tsp. Cajun seasoning 4 oz. cream cheese 4 flour tortilla wrappers Saute sausage, celery and onions until lightly browned. Add rice tomatoes and seasoning. Heat until warmed through. Spread cream cheese on tortilla wrappers. Top with sausage mixture and roll each tortilla tightly. Serves 4. California Wrap Mayonnaise 4 (8 inch) flour tortillas 1 lb. grilled boneless, skinless chicken breasts, sliced 1 avocado, peeled and sliced 1 red bell pepper, sliced salad greens Spread mayonnaise on tortillas. Layer chicken, avocado, pepper and salad greens down center of tortillas. Wrap and eat. Serves 4. BLT Wrap Mayonnaise 4 (8 inch) flour tortillas sherdded lettuce 1 tomato cut in 8 wedges 8 sliced cooked bacon 8 bread and butter pickles (sandwich slices) Spread mayonnaise on tortillas. Layer bacon, lettuce, tomato and pickles down center of tortillas. Wrap and eat. Serves 4. Chicken Caesar Wrap 4 (8 inch) plain or flavoured flour tortillas shredded romaine lettuce 1 1/2 cups cooked chicken, cut up 1 small red onion, thinly sliced 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese, grated bottled caesar dressing Layer romaine, chicken and onion down center of tortilla. Drizzle dressing and sprinkle with Parmesan . Wrap and eat. Serves 4. Feta Chicken Salad Wrap 1/4 cup mayonnaise 3/4 cup red seedless grapes, halved 6 ounces cooked/grilled chicken, sliced 4 ounces feta cheese, crumbled 1/4 cup toasted pine nuts or chopped toasted walnuts 2 tablespoons fresh basil, chopped 6 (8 inch) plain or flavoured tortillas Mix all ingredients except for tortillas. Spoon chicken salad down center of tortillas. Wrap and eat. Serves 6. Italian Sub Wrap 4 (8inch) plain or tomato& basil flavoured tortillas shredded lettuce 12 ounces thin sliced deli meats (salami, pepperoni, ham, cappicola, proscuitto) 4 slices provolone cheese 1 small red onion, thinly sliced 1 can (2.25 ounce) sliced pitted ripe olives, drained Italian dressing or oil and vinegar Layer lettuce, meats, cheese onion and olives down center of tortillas. Drizzle with dressing or oil and vinegar. Wrap and eat. serves 4. Tortilla Club 4 (8-inch) flour tortillas, warmed 1/4 cup Thousand Island salad dressing 1/4 cup finely chopped Roma tomatoes 4 leaf lettuce leaves 4 (1-ounce each) slices deli turkey breast 4 (3/4-ounce each) slices Swiss Cheese 4 (1-ounce each) slices deli honey ham or baked ham 4 (3/4-ounce each) slices Cheddar Cheese or American Cheese Spread each tortilla evenly with 1 tablespoon salad dressing; sprinkle with 1 tablespoon tomato. Top with 1 lettuce leaf, 1 slice turkey, 1 slice Swiss cheese, 1 slice ham and 1 slice Cheddar cheese. Roll up tortilla; secure with toothpicks.
