Thai Dipping Sauce
I have made this many times with grilled chicken (sometimes thighs, sometimes breasts) Really good. 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes (Original recipe called for 2 t red pepper flakes, I used one t cayenne pepper (YMMV) and thought it a good level of heat. Every pepper needs to be calibrated! 3 - 4 garlic cloves 1/4 cup distilled white vinegar 1/4 cup juice from 2 to 3 limes option: add zest from limes (I did) 2 tablespoons fish sauce 1/3 cup sugar Drop all ingredients into blender jar. Blend and let sit for an hour before serving. Lasts at least a week. Steve Silverman -- Rec.food.recipes is moderated by Patricia Hill at . Only recipes and recipe requests are accepted for posting.
