Casserole-Shrimp With Spaghetti


Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method

2 pounds shrimp
2 pounds spaghetti
1/2 cup olive oil
3/4 cup onion -- chopped
1/2 cup white wine
1 pound diced tomatoes
1/2 cup fresh parsley -- minced
1 green bell pepper -- chopped
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper

Preheat oven to 300 F. and lightly butter a 9 X 12" baking pan.
Cook spaghetti according to package directions until al dente. Drain
and set aside.
In a large pot, heat the oil and saute onion until light golden in
color. Add the wine, tomatoes, parsley, green pepper, salt and pepper.
Cook sauce until it begins to thicken. Add shrimp and cook another 3
minutes. Stir shrimp and sauce mixture into spaghetti.
Transfer spaghetti to prepared baking dish and bake 15 minutes.
