Default Mediterranean Dip

Mediterranean Dip

1 tablespoon olive oil
1 clove garlic, finely chopped
1 teaspoon ground cumin
1 can (19 ounces) chick-peas, drained
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
1/2 cup plain yogurt

Heat olive oil in nonstick medium-size skillet until hot. Add garlic;
saute until lightly golden, 1 to 2 minutes. Remove from heat; stir in
cumin and chick-peas. Combine chick-pea mixture, salt and lemon juice in
food processor. Whirl until smooth puree. Transfer to small bowl. Stir
in yogurt. Serve with raw vegetables, crispy flatbread, pita bread
wedges or crackers.
