Default Country Burgers

Country Burgers

1 pound ground beef
1 teaspoon dry mustard
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon pepper
2 tablespoons finely chopped
1 green pepper
1/2 cup milk
1 tablespoon butter or margarine
1 can condensed cream of mushroom soup

Mix ground beef lightly with mustard, salt, pepper, green pepper and milk.
Shape into 4 patties about 1 inch thick. Pan fry over medium heat in
butter or margarine just until brown on both sides. Spoon soup over, stir
lightly to blend with drippings being careful not to break patties.
Cover. Simmer, basting patties often, 10-15 minutes. Makes 4 servings.
