Default Dilly Bread

This recipe was my grandmother's. It is easy to make and always a hit. I
even like it toasted in the morning with slices of tomato on it!

Dilly Bread

1/4 cup warm water
1 envelope yeast
1 cup cottage cheese (warm)
2 Tbsp sugar
1 tsp salt
1/4 tsp baking soda
2 tsp dill seed
3 tsp onion flakes (I like to use more!)
2 eggs
2 1/3 cup flour

Mix water and yeast together and set aside. Put the cottage cheese,
sugar, baking soda, dill seed, onion flakes, and eggs into a mixing bowl
and beat. Add one cup of the flour and mix well. Then add the
yeast/water mixture and beat. Spoon in rest of the flour and spoon mix.
Let rise 'til double in size. Stir down with a spoon. Grease a 1 1/2
quart casserole dish well with Crisco (never oil--it will stick!) and put
mixed bread in it. Let rise 'til double again and bake in a 325 F oven for
about 50 minutes.
