Default Paul Bunyan Chili

Paul Bunyan's Chili

1 pound lean ground beef
1 pound lean ground pork
2 [ Very Happy 15 1/2 -oz] cans wild oats red kidney beans
1 [28-oz] can wild oats diced tomatoes
2 large onions, chopped
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 green pepper, chopped
3 tablespoons chili powder
2 tablespoons sugar
1 tablespoon crushed red pepper
3 tablespoons red wine vinegar
1 teaspoon ground cumin
Shredded Cheddar Cheese, about 1 cup[optional]

In a 4 quart Dutch Oven brown beef and pork. Drain off fat. Stir in
undrained beans, undrained tomatoes, onions,green pepper, garlic,
chili powder, sugar, crushed red pepper, wine vinegar, and cumin.
Cover and simmer for 1 hour, stirring frequently to avoid scorching.
Serve and top with cheese.
Serves 6-8
