Default Corned Beef in Crockpot

Corned Beef in Crockpot

we always make our corned beef in a crockpot. We use the store purchased corned beef -
put it in a slow crockpot - cover it with COLD water - add the spice packet and cook on
low all day. Check after about 6 hours to see if it's tender. that's it! Cooking
time will depend on the size of the corned beef.

Once the beef is done - we remove it and add cabbage, carrots and turniips to the
cooking water and cook til tender. (don't overcook - it could get mushy
