We're looking for a (Hunt's?) Spanish Rice recipe that, legend has it,
was printed on a match book cover. It's a favorite of my husband,
originally cooked by his grandfather, but the original recipe was lost
and hubby's mom has been trying to piece together what she remembers.
All suggestions appreciated.

Here is a puzzler. I used to have a cookbook called something like Lady McLeans
Cookbook. It was a collection of wonderful recipes and it was published in
England. One of the recipes was for a cake made with a few simple ingredients
including marmalade. After the cake was baked you spread more marmalade over the
top and frosted it with a white frosting. It was a favorite of our family. Over
the years I lost the cookbook and have wished many times I had this recipe. I
would appreciate any help you can give me with this recipe or somethin g like it.
