at a friend's house, i had a delicious lightly anise flavored cookie that
she got from a farmer's market in Bethlehem/Nazareth PA. it seems to be a
hand rolled snake cookie cut in 3 - 4 " lengths and baked. they are not
really sweet but taste wonderful dipped in coffee or tea. there is no
frosting on them either. she has attempted to get the recipe but
obviously they aren't giving it out since they make money from it.

I'm looking for a recipe for marinated potatoes, a Mexican Hors
D'Oeuvres. Recipe appeared in "Gourmet" magazine about 20 years ago.

I've tried to duplicate it but have not been able to. It had cubed
potatoes and a sort of vinagrette marinade/dressing.

Appreciate any help!

Iam looking for the recipe for Mussels Victoria from the Bonefish Grill, a
chain of restaurants located in the Florida Panhandle. It appears to be
mussels cooked in white wine, broth and chopped tomatoes. The waitress
revealed there is annisette drizzled over the top. These are terrific and
I would love to duplicat then. Thanks
