Cornmeal Pie

purchased from the Wantier Estate in Balch Springs, Texas

Dated 1914.
3 egg yolks
4 tablespoons corn meal
1 tablespoon flour
1-1/2 cups sugar
1 cup salted butter
1 teaspoon vanilla

Cook all ingredients in a double boiler until thick. Pour into a deep disk
pie shell and bake at 250 for 30-45 minutes.
