Oatmeal Lemonade Bars
Yield: 1 13x9x2 inch pan Filling: 12 ounce package pitted pruned, chopped 6 ounce can frozen lemonade concentrate, thawed, undiluted 1 lemonade can water 3/4 cups chopped nuts 1/3 cup sugar 1/4 cup flour 1/2 teaspoon salt Crumb Mixtu 1 3/4 cups flour 1 teaspoon baking soda 1 teaspoon salt 3/4 cup butter or margarine, softened 1 cup packed brown sugar 1 3/4 cups uncooked oats Filling: In saucepan bring to boil prunes, lemonade concentrate and water. Reduce heat; cook 15 to 20 minutes or until consistency of puree. Stir in nuts, sugar, flour and salt. Crumb Mixtu Stir flour, baking soda and salt together; set aside. In large bowl beat butter and sugar until creamy. Stir in flour mixture, then oats. Press half the Crumb Mixture into greased 13 x 9 x 2 inch baking pan; flatten. Evenly spread on filling. Sprinkle with remaining crumb mixture; pat lightly. Bake at 400 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes or until lightly browned. Cool slightly in pan on rack.
