Mango Jam

I don't know if this will help much. I got the recipe from a cookbook
from the Bahamas and it is not very percise. Anyway hope this helps
some:

Mango puree (I guess as much as you want) Peel and slice the mangos
then puree in a blender or processor
sugar
water

Measure equal amounts of puree and sugar, adding enough water to cover.
Place into a large, heavy stockpot.
Bring to a boil; reduce the heat and simmer, uncovered, stirring with a
large wooden spoon until the mixture is thick about 45 minutes to
1-hour. Cool. Pour into steralized jars and seal.
