Good Grilled Corn
Here's how I make mine. Remove the husks and the silk, rinse. Get a large piece of heavy duty foil. For a large ear of corn, I would estimate about a 12" by 12" piece. Starting the ear at one of the bottom corners, lay 2 ice cubes next to the ear, roll up tightly bringing the ends of the foil inwards. Like folding a burrito. Grill over medium heat about 15 minutes, turn and grill 10-15 minutes more. The ice cube steams the corn in the packet, but you still get bits of caramelized spots. Always turns out good Lynn -- Rec.food.recipes is moderated by Patricia Hill at . Only recipes and recipe requests are accepted for posting. Please allow several days for your submission to appear.
