Dill Weed

Now that the season is over does anyone know where whole dill weed can be
purchased for pickling?

Thanks

Whole green dillweed that you would use in making dill pickles will
most likely be found with the fresh fruits and vegetables. Often there
will be packages of fresh basil, dillweed, sage and other herbs. I
have made dill pickles with the dried and seed when nothing else is
available, though, and it didn't come out too badly. I finally started
growing my own to make sure I had some when I wanted it.

Thanks, the stores that I've looked at in the Chicago area have not had the
actually weed.

I am going to follow your approach and grow my own next season!

Thanks
