Olive Garden House Dressing and Recipe for Broiled Shiitake Mushroom.
Marinate overnight, 1 pound medium-sized fresh Shiitake Mushrooms. Marinade: Olive Garden House Dressing Recipe 8 ounces Paul Newman's Vinegar and Oil Dressing 1 clove garlic, peeled and minced 1/2 teaspoon dried basil 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano 1 tablespoon sugar syrup. (Boil 6 tablespoon sugar in 1/2 cup water. Refrigerate remainder of syrup for other purposes) Put ingredients into a bottle, shake well. Fresh mushrooms wash and discard stems. Dried mushrooms, soak mushrooms in warm water until softened, about 15 minutes, then drain. Discard stems. Marinade them. Preheat broiler. Place marinated mushrooms, stem sides up or down, in a greased baking pan. Brush with melted butter. Broil with tops 6 inches from heat until light brown, about 5-6 minutes. Garnish with sliced cucumbers and tomato |
