Simply Delicious Chesapeake Crab Cakes (1994 - First Place, Crab Cake
Division) 3 tablespoons Miracle Whip Salad Dressing 1 teaspoon mustard 1 tablespoon baking powder 1 1/2 to 2 teaspoons Old Bay seasoning 1 tablespoon parsley flakes 2 slices bread, torn into small pieces with crust off 1 egg 1 pound Jumbo Lump crab meat Mix all ingredients except crab meat together. Set aside for 3 to 4 minutes; Fold in crab meat until well mixed. Form into cakes. Fry over medium heat until browned. Place on paper towels to remove excess grease. Serve with cocktail sauce. Yields 5 to 6 crab cakes. |
