I use something simular but I do not use canned green beans. I use
fresh or frozen. I use this recipe w/ new potatoes w/ green beans or fresh garden peas. I do not use accent, or celery salt either But yes, you are correct, it is good ![]() Duckie On Tue, 29 Jun 2004 19:16:49 -0500, "Jbya" > wrote: >Jerry's Green Beans and Ham > > > >Stock: Combine and blend the following in a large stockpot > > > >2 cans chicken broth > >2 Tbs olive oil > >2 Tbs dried diced onion > >1 tsp celery salt > >2 tsp black pepper > >1 tsp Thyme > >1 tsp dill weed > >1 tsp garlic powder > >1 tsp Accent > > > >ADD: > > > >2 lbs Sugardale ham - diced into ¾-1" cubes > >4 cans of whole green beans (DRAINED) > >2 lbs of small new red potatoes - diced into 3/4" slices and cubed > > > >Add the above three bulk ingredients and enough water to cover. > > > >COVER; bring to a low boil and then reduce to simmer until the potatoes are >done. > > > > > |
