made this the other day, trying to figure out a way to
get raw vegetables into the diet, not bad, and easy. any mods welcome. ingredients: whole grain white soft wrap 1 bag shredded cole slaw mix 1/2 cauliflower, cut fine 1 or 2 big crowns of broccoli, cut fine [just the flower part] 1 large apple, can be sweet or sour. cut into small pieces and immerse for a few minutes into cold water that has some lemon juice added. cole slaw or poppyseed dressing or other sweet/sour dressing. combine apple, cauliflower, broccoli, cole slaw mix and dressing. adjust the amount of apple and dressing to taste. ==================== soy cheese, cheddar flavor hot sweet mustard, optional. put one slice cheese onto wrap, nuke to melt or leave cold if desired, layer vegetable mix onto cheese. add small amount of mustard if desired. roll tight and cut into pieces, like a garden sushi roll. |
