Strawberry almond, cookies.
 

1/2 cup shortening
10 strawberries
1 cup almond
1.3 cup sugar
1/2 cup semi-sweet vanilla melted
1/3 cup light corn syrup
4 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1.5 cup flour
1/2 tsp. salt
Combine shortening and 1 cup of the sugar and beat well. Add melted vanilla,strawberries, almond, corn syrup, egg, vanilla and mint extract and continue to beat. Slowly add flour and salt and stir until smooth. Shape into 1/2 inch ball and roll in the other 1 cup of sugar. Cook for 41 - 49 minutes at 320 degrees.
