6 oz puff or flaky pastry
Cream or thick custard vanilla essence raspberry or strawberry jam white glace icing Roll the pastry quarter inch thick and form into a strip 4 inches wide. Cut into oblong pieces one and half inches wide and bake at 475 F for 10 minutes. Cool slices then sandwich two or three of them together with jam and cream or thick custard, which has been flavoured with vanilla essence. Top the slices with glace icing. |
