The Three Guys From Miami have been cooking and eating Cuban food all
of their lives -- except for Glenn. He's only been cooking and eating it for 22 years, but he's working really hard to catch up! All of the Cuban recipes featured on this site and in our cookbook, "Three Guys From Miami Cook Cuban," have been tested in the Three Guys' own kitchens, a long process creating, collecting, and refining the recipes presented here. These are the Cuban food favorites that we have cooked and eaten in our own homes for many years. Many are long-time family recipes from several generations of the Musibay and Castillo families. This collection is also a synthesis of many recipes, recipe ideas, and cooking tips we have received from Cubans (and Cuban food lovers) all over the world. The recipes we present on our site and in our book represent 22 years of experimentation, refinement, and a lot of trial and error to make them uniquely our own. Many of the recipes were created "from scratch" by us after enjoying a meal at a restaurant and trying to duplicate it in our own kitchens. And some are just "out of nowhere" creations that have very little basis in reality! Since its early beginnings as a Florida fishing site on July 9, 1996, iCuban.com: The Internet Cuban has become one of the most popular Cuban sites on the web. More than FOUR MILLION visitors have experienced a taste of Cuban culture as only three crazy guys can provide. http://icuban.com |
