Default why do my never fail pie crusts, never work

well my pie crusts, might work as armour plating for tanks.
i just don't make them anymore, or, well as if i ever did.

help me?

Mix a pie crust too much and that is exactly what will happen. All you need for a perfect crust is flour, crisco, cold water and salt. I don't have the exact proportion of ingrediants with me, will look them up and post them later.

If you overwork the dough, it will be very tough. Perhaps you are
overworking it?

thanx for your hints
tried it again this mornning, and a buddy showed up for coffee.
i guess i was making a few mistakes.
the ingredients were getting too warm.
making it on the dishwasher cutting board, while the dishwasher is running
is like an ancient taboo.
he precuts his butter into small bits and then sticks them into the freezer
for 20 minutes. and cools the mixing bowl.

just tried the outcome from the oven.
wow, i can make pastry.
so what is your most favorite meat pie.

i feel like a teenager who just got the keys to the car.
