Beef Tips for Two
10 ounces beef stew meat Flour, salt and pepper Oil 1 Tablespoon tomato paste 1 Tablespoon Worcestershire sauce 2 teaspoons vinegar 1/4 teaspoon celery salt Pinch of cayenne pepper Pinch of ground cloves 1/4 teaspoon allspice 1/4 teaspoon garlic salt 2 Tablespoons chopped onion 1 cup beef bouillon Dust meat lightly with flour, salt, and pepper, and saute in a little oil until browned. Place meat, along with all other ingredients, in an 8" x 8" baking dish which has been sprayed lightly with cooking spray. Cover with foil, and bake 1-1/2 to 2 hours at 350 . (This can be cooked in a Dutch oven if desired and simmered slowly until done.) Serve with a hot buttered noodles or rice and a green salad. |
