Lemon Pepper marinated flank steak
1 - 1 1/4 pound flank steak 1/2 cup olive oil 1 Tablespoon soy sauce 1 teaspoon lemon pepper seasoning non-stick cooking spray Trim fat off steak and poke many holes in the meat (tenderize it). Place in a shallow pan of similar size. Pour oil and soy sauce over. Coat with lemon pepper and marinate about 20 minutes turning the meat a couple times. Heat a griddle very hot. Spray with a non-stick cooking spray. Toss the steak on and turn to cook evenly. Throw the marinade away. Use an instant read thermometer and remove steak when it says 120 degrees (not too long). Cut thin on a diagonal on a cutting board that has a catcher for the juice. |
