Hot Dog Surprise
Servings: 2 cups servings. What you need: Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 1 pound hotdogs 2 medium onions -- chopped 2 tablespoons margarine or oil 1 tablespoon chopped parsley 2 teaspoons chopped basil 1/2 teaspoon powdered garlic 1 15 oz. can chopped tomatoes -- drained OR 2 tomatoes -- chopped 2 cans condensed cream of mushroom soup 1 pound elbow macaroni -- cooked and drained Ready, set, cook! 1. Slice the hotdogs diagonally in 1/4" slices. 2. Sauté hotdogs with onions until slightly browned in margarine. 3. Add basil, garlic and parsley, cook 2 more minutes. Add tomatoes and soup. 4. Cook until bubbly; add drained macaroni and serve. |
