Oysters Stir-Fry
Serves:4 Ingredients 1 tbsp. cornstarch 1 tbsp. water 1 tbsp. vegetable oil 1 green onion, thinly sliced 1 clove garlic, minced 1 tbsp. peeled and minced fresh ginger 3/4 lb. shucked oysters, drained 1/3 cup orange juice 2 tbsp. light soy sauce Hot cooked rice (optional) Sliced green onion (optional) Instructions 1. In a small bowl mix cornstarch with the water, set aside. 2. In a wok or large skillet heat oil over medium-high heat. Add the green onion, garlic and ginger; stir-fry for 1 minute. Add oysters, orange juice and soy sauce; stir-fry for an additional 30 seconds. 3. Add cornstarch mixture and cook until about 1 minute or until sauce just starts to thicken, and oysters are cooked.
