NORVEGIAN PIE
1 1/2 cups sugar 1 cup flour 2 tsp baking powder 1/2 tsp salt 2 eggs 1/2 tsp vanilla 2 cups diced apples (2 large, unpeeled) 1 cup chopped pecans or walnuts Combine sugar, flour, baking powder and salt. Mix well. Add eggs, unbeaten, vanilla, apples and nuts. Mix until all dry ingredients have been moistened. This is a very stiff dough. Spread evenly in two greased 8 inch pie plates (or one 9x12 inch pan) and bake at 350 degrees F for 30-35 minutes. |
