Italian Beef Roast

3 pounds chuck roast -- up to 4
1/2 package dry onion soup mix
1 package dry Italian Dressing mix
1 can chopped green chilies



Ready, set, cook!



Put the roast in the crockpot, sprinkle with soup mix and dressing
mix. Dump the chilies on top. DO NOT ADD WATER. Cover and cook on low
for 8 hrs. I then shredded the meat, into big strands, and kept it in
a separate bowl. The kids LOVED the plain meat. I thickened the sauce
with flour and water, and served the meat and sauce over egg noodles.
