Teriyaki Turkey does anyone know....
I got this all white meat one from a food pantry.Looks good I canput it
on the grill or crock pot.But what can I make to go with it? Thanks, Nancy |
a salad, lots of sweet corn, potato and/or macaroni salad. We smother it in
bbq sauce in crockpot. Chicken Parmesan 2 18x12" sheets heavy duty aluminum foil (or 2 double thicknesses of regular foil)* 2 boneless skinless chicken breasts 2 TBS grated parmesan cheese 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese** 1 cup of your favorite spaghetti sauce *** Spray aluminum foil with nonstick cooking spray. Lay one chicken breast on each sheet. Over each, spread 1/2 cup spaghetti sauce, 1/2 cup mozzarella cheese, 1 TBS parmesan cheese. Fold long ends of foil up together and fold over several times, leaving a little space inside. Roll up both sides to make a packet, again, leaving a little air space inside. Place the two packets on a cookie sheet, and place in a 425* (F) oven for 30 minutes. Open packets and serve. Can be served over spaghetti or linguini. * The pieces of foil can be longer if it makes it easier to fold up your packets. ** I often buy a large bag of shredded mozzarella at the supermarket and then measure it out into zipper freezer bags in 1 cup increments. This is much cheaper, and then how ever many cups a recipe calls for, I just take out that many bags of cheese to thaw. *** I sometimes will buy a small jar of spaghetti sauce and put it into zipper freezer bags in 1 cup increments and freeze - then when I need it for this recipe, I just take one out in the morning and put it in the fridge and by evening it's pretty well thawed out. The small jars I find usually have about 2 cups or so in them.
