Easy Chicken Divan

2 frozen pkgs (10-oz each) broccoli spears -OR- 2 bunches fresh
broccoli which has been washed and trimmed into spears.
2 cups sliced or chopped cooked chicken
2 cans condensed Cream of Chicken soup
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1 teaspoon lemon juice
1/2 teaspoon curry powder
1/2 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
1/2 cup soft bread crumbs, tossed with 1-Tablespoon melted butter
Steam broccoli until tender-crisp or cook broccoli in a small amount
of boiling water until tender-crisp and drain water. Arrange the
broccoli spears in a greased 11 1/2 x 7 1/2 x 1 1/2-inch baking dish.
Arrange chicken over the broccoli spears. Set aside.
Combine the condensed chicken soup (do not add water) with mayonnaise,
lemon juice, and curry powder. Pour over top of broccoli and chicken..
Sprinkle with shredded cheese over top, then top with buttered bread
crumbs. Bake at 350° F. for 25 to 30 minutes, or until heated through.
Serves 6.
