Butterscotch Cornflake Cookies
I was given this recipe by my mother. I have four children and a in-home daycare. I make it because it's fast and easy (I've also used it for potlucks), adults seem to love them as much as the children. They seem to be addictive. Enjoy! Ingredients: 5 c. corn flakes cereal 1 bag of butterscotch chips 3 T. of peanut butter Directions: Melt the peanut butter and butterscotch chips together in a double broiler, stirring constantly. When melted pour over corn flakes. Drop mixture by spoonfuls onto cookie sheet and then refrigerate for about 1 hour. Take off of cookie sheet and put into airtight container then keep in refrigerator. Submitted by: Michelle Reiter of Kane, IL |
