Caramel Apples
Servings: 6 apple servings. What you need: Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 6 Wooden skewers 6 medium Apples 2 tablespoons Water 1 package (14 ounces) Caramels Ready, set, cook! 1. Insert skewer in the stem end of each apple. 2. Heat water and caramels over low heat, stirring occasionally, until caramels are melted and mixture is smooth. Keep mixture over a very low heat. 3. Dip each apple into caramel mixture, spooning mixture over apple until completely coated. 4. Place on waxed paper after dipping. Refrigerate until coating is firm. |
