Creole Pecan Custard
350 degrees - 45 minutes 3/4 cup chopped pecans 6 eggs 2 cup milk 2 cup sugar 4 Tbsp. flour 1 Tbsp. butter Mix the flour with 1 cup sugar, cream the butter with 2nd cup of sugar, add the well beaten yolks of eggs, the well beaten egg whites, flour & sugar milk, and lastly the nuts. Mix all well together, pour into a well buttered baking dish and bake in a moderate oven. Custard may be served hot, or cold with whipped cream.
