Default Ice Box Cookies

Ice Box Cookies

These are great to have on hand for unexpected company after school
snacks
or even for that nightly milk and cookie snack. Cookies do not have to
be
kept frozen.

Ingredients:

3 sticks of margarine, melted
1 box dark brown sugar (2 c. packed)
1 c. white sugar
4 eggs
4 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 T. cinnamon
1 c. chopped pecans
or
1 package chocolate chips

Directions:

Cream together margarine, dark brown sugar and white sugar. Add eggs.
Sift
together the flour, baking soda and cinnamon. Mix all together well.
Add
chopped pecans or chocolate chips. Make into three rolls and wrap in
waxed
paper; twisting ends together to seal. Place in freezer or use fresh.
Bake
at 325 degrees on lightly greased cookie sheet until done. Do not over
bake
for a softer cookie.
