I'm looking to make some breads in the next couple of weeks that call for
rye chops. I know I can buy it in bulk here in the Boston area (25 lb bags), but I really don't want to buy that much, especially since I've already got an ample supply of rye berries in my cupboard. Calling around I've had no luck finding a store that sells it in smaller quantities. Has anyone had any luck making rye chops at home with their food processor? Or some other method? -- Jeff |

I would not want to grind up a 50 pound bag of rye, but doing enough for a loaf of bread is not too bad a chore. Well, you can't be too fussy about uniform bits either. Regards, Charles |
