Can I use pastry flour to feed starter

I just ran out of white flour and need to feed my starter. I have a choice of whole wheat and pastry flour. Do anyone
have an opinion about which one (if any) I should use. I can get more organic white flour in a day or two, when I go
into town.

Howdy,

Either will be fine (as would doing nothing at all until you
have the flour you usually use...)

All the best,

To maintain the characteristics of your starter, I'm sure your starter will
forgive you if you don't feed it for a day or so (keep it in the fridge).
Give her a little TLC when you do manage to feed it again.
