Fruit fly bait.
I forgot I had some banana peels in the garbage until too late. This trap worked great. Took about a day and a half to catch almost all of them. Cut a plastic soda bottle off just a little below the shoulder, make a small hole (~1/16") in the lid, put a spoon of starter in the bottom, feed it a little, stuff the top into the bottom upside down, leave where the flies can find it. More ups and downs of bachelor living. -- If you try to 'reply' to me without fixing the dot, your reply will go into a 'special' mailbox reserved for spam. See below. -- Carl West http://carl.west.home.comcast.net >>>>>>>> change the 'DOT' to '.' to email me <<<<<<<<<<<< "Clutter"? This is an object-rich environment. |
