There are no moderators. This is not a moderated group. There is no one to take it over, allow posts, disallow posts or close down this newsgroup. AFAIK, the only thing that will kill this group is if people stop posting here. Yes, more and more ISPs are discontinuing all newsgroups, but there are still many ways to access them, both paid and free. I cited a free one above. A moderated group could be created, and if people used it, it would be successful. If not, well, how long would you wait for a posting before giving up on it? I think this group will survive as long as enough of us are interested in it... Harvey |

I to lost usenet service with AT&T but I found this new server http://www.eternal-september.org/ went to thier web page and sing up. They sent me a password and all the information I needed.
