Hi All,
I completely new to sourdough and have some questions about unglazed quarry tiles. I was able to find 2 of them (13" square and about 5/8" thick) for $2 apiece. Is there something I'm supposed to do to them to prepare them for baking sourdough? Also, I understand that I'm supposed to bake the loaves directly on the tiles. What about if I'm baking in a pan? Do I also place the pan directly on the tiles? Any advice would be great! Thanks, Tim Walters Atlanta, GA |
