Stir it back into the starter. It's got the organisms in it too.


Non-bread things I've done with starter:
- paper paste
- fruit fly bait

Back in the sixties, when I was keeping way more starter than I needed, I
tried a
few drinking man variations on the use of the excess "Hooch". Couldn't sip
it
straight... too bitter and sour. Found that it was "sippable" only with a
lot of
sugary stuff plus some bourbon. Too much trouble, and it just ruined the
taste
of good bourbon! my $0.02. Dave
