It's looking like the right time to get another scale. I've got an old
Edlund E80 which I like but it's upper end is 2000 grams. That's not working out well now that our teenage boys are murdering the bread box daily. I need something a bit bigger, something that I can put the big bowl on and add, tare, add, tare... I know Mike's been a big fan of My Weigh... is that still the way to go? Links and thoughts appreciated. Will |

I purchased the My Weigh KD7000 Professional about 5 months ago and am
quite pleased with it. The scale goes to 7000 grams (hence the model name); handles tare quite well, easily switches from g/kg/lbs/oz/lb oz, and the removable stainless steel tray make cleanup a breeze. I also like the fact that it uses standard AA batteries - which, thanks to my AA battery-eating Digital Camera is a well stocked item in my house ![]() All-in-all I agree with Mike - the My Weigh is a great kitchen/home scale for its price range. I got mine at: http://www.saveonscales.com/ Will wrote: > It's looking like the right time to get another scale. I've got an old > Edlund E80 which I like but it's upper end is 2000 grams. I found it hard finding anything that did the same for the same price. TG |
