A friend and I just created this Yahoo group:

While this is not an attempt to take away the discussions in this
group, we noticed that the local Northern California sushi topics were
somewhat on the light side. We were hoping to create a group to focus
not just on eating sushi but all related subjects and experiences that
might fall outside of the "food" discussion. The group was just
started so content is very light at the
moment. Thanks.
