I have written here before about how I won't eat octopi or cuttlefish or
even squid because they have high intelligence. But they spawn like
mad and bring all these tiny embryonic non-thinking (for about a year or
two) replicas into being - a few of which grow up to be the big smart
guys I won't eat.

This gets into difficult territory so I'm cross-posting this note to
