I think, like all fish and mammals, it depends on the cut and probably the species. I've never heard of seal being used in sushi although if it exists at all it would probably be in the far north areas of Hokkaido (The northernmost main Japanese island) since I have at least heard of Todo-nabe (Sea Lion hot pot?). Even then I doubt it would be any kind of mainstream cuisine. |
