Check out sushifinder.com. Not only can you find resturants by cross
streets, but you can register for free and they let you rate and
comment on resturants!! They have some pretty cool t-shirts in the
shop too!!

Not a bad listing, but the data is old. Some of he places have
since closed. We're looking at 1 year old info.

Like Dan said, some of the data is old...but I found some of it still
useful. I just added a rating for Osaka Tea Garden in Nashua, NH. It's the
best place in my area when I don't feel like driving 45 minutes to Boston.
A suggestion...much bigger slices of fish when you sit at the bar. But I
guess that's typical... Enjoy!

Amazing, no sushi in Dallas, or Tampa. Since I know for a fact that
Dallas has over 100 sushi bars, I'm guessing the information is
limited and incomplete. I've only found a few sushi bars in the Tampa
Bay area even worth the time since I moved here, but they are here,
and they are worth visiting.

How many listings in sushifinder.com?

Quoting the first sentence from:
http://www.taiko-enterprises.com/robot.html
"The number of Japanese restaurants in the U.S. has increased
from 3,500 in 1993 to 5,600 in 1999."

Anybody know the current (2004) number? Or how to find out?
Is there a sushi division in the National Restaurant Assn
http://www.restaurant.org? Is there a "sushi bar" classification
within the Dept of Commerce or Internal Revenue Service?

Speaking of sushi t-shirts...I think my favorite is Ace Wasabi's, from San
Francisco. http://www.acewasabis.com/live.htm

....which isn't to say it's my favorite sushi place...just an interesting
shirt. Anybody else got one they like?
