Sushi (alt.food.sushi) For talking sushi. (Sashimi, wasabi, miso soup, and other elements of the sushi experience are valid topics.) Sushi is a broad topic; discussions range from preparation to methods of eating to favorite kinds to good restaurants.

Default drive thru sushi

When i was in Fresno Calif. i came across a sushi drive thru. Yes it was
amazing! It was called the "Naked Fish". Not bad food but not the best. I had
the"fresh water ee"l and she had the"California Roll." The food was fresh but
prepared slightly different.
Does anyone have a drive thur in there neighborhood?

Yeah they opened their first place in Boulder when I worked there. I tried
their sushi once but wouldn't pay for it again and the rest of their food is
Micky D's Asian.

Say Can, have you tried Sushi by Kevin or Nimo's in Ft. Collins.? I'm no
expert but I thought both were very good. Kevin's sushi bar is austere to
say the least but sitting there and talking to him he really knows his fish
and has them flown in fresh daily from only one fisherman he knows in
Hawaii. And he made up a great sample platter for free for my daughter and
I while we talked to him

From your description, I wish I had. But since I live in Thornton, just
north of Denver, I have not been to most Ft. Collins places - just
Coopersmith, a Mexican place whose name I forgot, and a Chinese place -
same.

In Denver, I will swear by Mori. Mr. Mori was a great itamae, but Go-san,
who is really running the place now, is even better. His negihama has no
equal.
